Abstract

In order to enhance a cornering performance of a vehicle, we introduced new longitudinal force distribution method. The method aimed at active control of compliance steer, namely, applied longitudinal force to front inner tire for the increase of steering angle, and rear outer tire for enhancement of opposite steer of rear tire. The cornering performance was evaluated by simulation and test results of control equipped vehicle.
