Abstract

This report tried to make a model of Following-up driving considering personal error of non-expert driver. (1)ACC employing Performance Index for Approach and Alienation, (2)A model of Following-up driving for non-expert driver, (3)Another model of Following-up driving for driving in rushing situations. With these three experiments above, the leading cars were made to slow down for a certain decelerating and the average operating-speeds of following cars were compared. Experiment (1) resulted best in fuel consumption and the second was experiment (2).
