Abstract

Although the number of road traffic accidents is decreasing, many accidents still occur. Therefore, traffic safety measures are necessary. In this study, for purpose of obtaining useful data for the planning of traffic safety measures, a method of road traffic flow analysis is shown based on the observation data of unmanned aerial vehicles. Specifically, running speed, inter-vehicle distance, running trajectory, etc. are calculated, and evaluated the danger. As a result, it was clarified that there are many vehicles that cannot secure an appropriate inter-vehicle distance according to the traveling speed, and there is a width in the right turn trajectory.
