Abstract

The pattern of medico-legal deaths in year 1992 in Haryana is presented. A total of H54 postmortems are analysed according to manner of death as accidental, suicidal, homicidal. The most common manner, suicide is further analysed regarding cause of death as poisoning, burns and drowning. The month wise distribution of various types of deaths is given in tabulated form.
