Abstract

Product Summary: Team Up to Save Lives is a computer based training and reference tool to assist in the prevention of adolescent suicide. It is also an interactive tutorial, which can help educate school staff about adolescent suicide prevention. Evaluation Summary: Team Up to Save Lives is an interactive software created by the University of Illinois at Chicago and funded by Ronald McDonald House Charities. It is intended for use by school personnel interested in setting up a crisis team to prevent adolescent suicide. The software provides detailed and comprehensive information about the etiology, epidemiology, and assessment of factors associated with adolescent suicide. It also provides information on how to set up both a school based and community based crisis intervention team that would deal with all aspects related to adolescent suicide. © 2003 by The Haworth Press, Inc.
