Abstract

The teenage years are a period of turmoil for just about everyone experiencing them. Many changes are taking place both emotionally and physically and new social roles are being learned. Sometimes solutions to problems are not readily available to the teen and the result can be loneliness. The more that negotiators understand about the unique nature of teen suicidal actors, the better prepared they will be to intervene effectively. © 2003 by The Haworth Press, Inc.
