Abstract

The present article emphasizes the current legislative background in the world, on a European and national level concerning the respect of people's right to life. Subsequently, it examines the issues regarding the euthanasia and it presents different cases of citizens from Great Britain, France, and Romania who claimed for their right to assisted suicide. A special focus of this article is to understand the thoughts and the feelings of the persons who requested euthanasia.
