Abstract

This cross-sectional observational study pursued the goal of identifying the spectrum of psychopathological disorders in patients who were affected by blood-borne infections (human immunodeficiency virus, hepatitis В, hepatitis С), had a history of suicide attempts, and have been undergoing treatment at the division for crisis states and psychosomatic disorders. We have used the clinical-anamnestic and the clinical-psychopathological methods. Our study has shown that the extant psychopathological disorders exert significant influence on the formation of self-injurious behavior in patients suffering from blood-borne viral infections. © 2019, V.
