Abstract

Fractures in the elderly sometimes occur as a result of the minor accident, for example falls in the living room. The background of these, patients have not only osteoporosis, but various kinds of diseases such as dementia, heart diseases, lung diseases, the cerebrovascular disorders. The proper treatment gives minimum functional loss even in the elderly patients. The overview of the treatments of various fractures in the elderly are presented.
