Abstract

All cases of an ill-treatment on children have been registered in an area of newly built houses in the G.D.R. and analysed; the obtained dates were compared with selected reading-lists. The child abuse is defined in respect to the development of the child in question and the necessity of a co-operation in multilateral medical disciplines is stressed.
