Abstract

"The structure and dynamics of suicide. in the subpopulation of elderly people in Poland. is discussed on the basis of official statistical. data. Routine epidemiological analyses allow us to state that sex, age and place of residence are decisive factors determining the number of suicides at postproductive ages. The suicidal death rate is higher for men in all age groups, both in urban and rural areas."
