Abstract

In the years between 1987 and 1989, REHAB reduced injuries from 3.5 to 1 per 50 employees. This program continues, and REHAB continues to refine it to reduce the rate even more. A strong management commitment to prevent injuries, increased staff awareness, and a program for gradual return to work all were instrumental in a significant reduction of injuries at REHAB.
