Abstract

. Pairing the needs of older residents in adult residen- tial care facilities with creative programming can contribute to more active participation and communication satisfaction for the residents. Specific suggestions are offered to rogam directors for the employ- 9 ment of verbal, visual, auditory, o actory and other sensory triggers, in order to introduce opportunities for reminiscence, creative dramat- ics and communication expressiveness.
