Abstract

This paper examines the applicability of the Impor- tance-Performance (I-P) Scale in the evaluation and marketing of activity programs in geriatric settings. The I-P analysis involves as- sessing client expectations and agency performance on various at- tributes of a program. The scale is flexible and easy to develop and implement. It provides information useful in making decisions con- cerning program improvement and resource allocation. An example of the evaluation of an activity program is provided in this paper.
