Abstract

Analysis of world disasters has provided valuable information on the psychological effect on those experiencing the disaster. However, little is known about the response by those with established psychiatric or mental health issues. This article explores the issues regarding disaster planning and intervention for survivors with established psychiatric or mental health issues.
