Abstract

This paper surveys possible power plants and energy sources for free wheeling transportation vehicles and determines the practical outlook for each such alternative. The advantages and disadvantages (including impacts such as balance of payments, etc.), estimated development costs and time frame, expected costs to the consumer, estimated environmental impacts etc. of alternative power plants are summarized. The most promising alternative power plant and energy sources for free-wheeling vehicles are predicted. /EI/
