Abstract

One of the important areas of change for the traffic engineer is the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This document, which serves as the U.S. national standard for traffic control devices, is continually being revised and updated. Changes to the MUTCD have significant impacts on traffic engineers and their agencies' operations.
