Abstract

This paper provides a summary description of the program created to assess whether the conduct of individuals in connection with alcohol or drug consumption is consistent with the safe operation of a motor vehicle. This summary assessment program came into effect in Qubec in Spring 1998. The paper also means to identify some of the features of the population in question.
