Abstract

Child psychiatric aspects and treatment program at teenage centers in Ustergotland in Sweden are described. The drunken teenage-driver is often without traffic-licence, without a car of his own, without sober friends, without a supporting family, without a job and without a professional education. He is also often in bad psychic and physiological balance. A description is given of how the teenage centers try and often succeed in changing the teenager into a sober driver and help him towards a better balance. The author also describes the psychotherapeutic team and how the team is cooperating with care disciplines of different kind. (TRRL)
