Abstract

Safety 2010 World Injury Conference, London, Abstract:: Electrical injuries and electrocution are increasing in our daily life, but there are many cases that have less obvious shin electric marks, even no electric marks at all, so it causes difficulties in forensic investigations. Therefore, it requires a deeper study on the expressions of other organs after an electric shock. Researchers have done a good deal of studies in the injuries of cardiac muscle, bone and skeletal muscle by electric shock in the past several years, and those researches have shown a positive effect after application in forensic investigations. This paper reviews the research progress in the aspects mentioned above.
