Abstract

With news reporting murders on TV and newspapers, we can see names and faces of both suffers and assailants. We naturally regard that there were some interactions between them and never have a doubt. In this article, I will point out that female suffers are often considered inevitable to be murdered when sufferers and assailants had sexual relations. The object of the paper is neither to conclude prostitution as rape nor to support men who use sexual violence to women. The author aims to reveal violence held in being categorized as "women who are raped" and "women who prostitute", investigating the discourses constructed with both categories.
