Abstract

The author analyzes a group of casualties with concussion of the brain hospitalized in 1997-2001 in the Traumatological Hospital in Brno. From the discussion ensue some questions and suggestions--the role of the neurologist in assessment of the diagnosis, indications for CT examination, referring patients to hospital, care of patients with concurrent intoxications, discharge on patient's own wish.
