Abstract

Mental disorders late after craniocerebral injury were studied in 120 children and adolescents aged 3-16 years. The following psychopathological syndromes were defected: epileptiform (34.2%), psychopathic-like (18.3%), oligophrenic (13.3%), mental retardation (9.3%), neurotic-like (9.2%), personality disorders (8.3%) and cerebrasthenic (7.5%). In some cases, syndromes were combined. Along with injury, other factors are shown to play a role in the development of above disorders.
