Abstract

Since the advanced economic growth in 1960's, our styles of living have been changing extremely fast, and we can see the very situation that the materialism drives out the spiritualism. This matter causes some grave social problems. Many researchers know that some phenomena like domestic violence, infant ill treat, bully in school and so forth, which are thought to be educational and social problems of recent Japanese society, come from unnatural relationship between family members. So I put a subtitle - In search of the desirable first socialization - and stated the research of modern Japanese family from following four points of view. (1) Some social problems over the infant (2) Transition of family form (3) The first socialization in the development psychological and educational sociological side (4) Parents' behavior for the desirable first socialization and issues to be solved.
