Abstract

We present the statistical data relating to the cases of poisoning in persons over 65 years of age, admitted to our hospital in period of the last 6 years. We refer these data to the population of younger persons, looking for differences and similarities. We also discuss briefly substantial limitations and characteristics of the proceedings, in particular the therapeutic management, in this group of patients.
