Abstract

The lack of impact of ergonomics on the design of many modern items is seen every day. This paper examines examples as evidence of a lack of consideration of ergonomics in design. Because many examples are examined, the orientation is toward a visual presentation, accompanied by a discussion of different methods of categorizing design faults which are ergonomic in nature.
