Abstract

Approximately 200 articles were reviewed to discover what new techniques are being employed to tap the human muscle power potential to perform work. A near absence of published information was found addressing the problem. Consequently, a discussion is presented touching on the physical properties that must exist for humans to serve as motors. Also presented is a suggested approach to effectively exploiting our potential to assume this function.
