Abstract
|
Security is one of the most important values for the entities: individuals, social groups, nations, states as well as the international system. It has an existential character.
For many centuries the security issues have not taken the first place in the social reconstruction projects, as security was treated as a matter of God and fate and not society, powerless against the elements and plagues. Ennoblement of this value is inseparable connected to the lost of human being in the chaos of events, surfeit of information, relativism of values, change of the balance of power in the world economy end politics. Number of threats beyond the man control is growing. Nowadays the need for security becomes the state of severe lack and existential discomfort.
The author presents ways of thinking about safety, interpretation and evolution of its perception from the earliest times to the present day.

Vernacular Abstract
|
Bezpieczeństwo jest jedną z najważniejszych wartości dla podmiotów: jednostek, grup społecznych, narodów, państw, a także systemu międzynarodowego. Ma charakter egzystencjalny.
Przez wiele wieków problemy bezpieczeństwa nie zajmowały pierwszego miejsca w projektach przebudowy społecznej, ponieważ bezpieczeń- stwo jawiło się sprawą Boga i losu a nie społeczeństwa, bezsilnego wobec żywiołów i plag. Nobilitacja tej wartości jest nierozłącznie związana z zagubieniem człowieka w chaosie zdarzeń, nadmiarze informacji, relatywizmie wartości, zmianie układu sił w gospodarce światowej i polityce. Narasta liczba zagrożeń niezależnych od woli człowieka. Potrzeba bezpieczeństwa staje się dzisiaj dotkliwym stanem braku i egzystencjalnego dyskomfortu.
Autor prezentuje sposoby myślenia o bezpieczeństwie, interpretacji
i ewolucji jego postrzegania od czasów najdawniejszych po współczesne. |
