Abstract

There is a demand for more courses in psychology in Negro colleges throughout the south. This demand results from general improvement in the curricula of these colleges and from increased enrollment. Aside from teaching in colleges there are opportunities for Negro psychologists as school psychologists and specialists with various types of handicapped children. Several of the southern states maintain separate schools for Negro blind, deaf, feebleminded, and delinquents, which need trained Negro personnel.
