Abstract

The growing popularity of the passive adsorption/elution technique in fire debris analysis, has given rise to a number of passive devices. This study investigated the DFLEX® device made of a charcoal impregnated polymer strip enclosed in a protective membrane. Several experiments were conducted in order to evaluate the device for routine fire debris analysis.
