Abstract

Clozapine is an "atypical" tricyclic dibenzodiazepine antipsychotic drug. A 21 year-old woman was found dead after a suicidal overdose of clozapine. Analysis of tissue found 23.6 mg/L of clozapine in cardiac blood, 8.42 mg/L in femoral and 263 mg/kg in liver. Smaller amounts of other drugs were also detected.
