Abstract

Bloodstain pattern analysis is very useful for the reconstruction of events at a crime scene, even when items have been moved, cleaned, or taken away. In the following case, the body of the victim was not found until the investigation was well underway. A number of locations were examined before the circumstances of the crime could be determined.
