Abstract

Sexual violence is a deeply dehumanising experience. The forensic consultation with victims of sexual violence requires particular attention from caregivers so that it is not experienced as another assault. It requires considerable investment and availability. Quality care is a critical issue for the follow-up. The participation of the nurse in every stage of the care process is reassuring for the victim.
