Abstract

Original techniques, including variational pulsometry and determination of parameters of homeostatic reactions of the blood previously never used in examination of such patients, were employed for the assessment of the adaptational-regulatory system and the level of nonspecific resistance in 99 patients with a history of mild craniocerebral injury (MCCI). The authors identified significant differences in the parameters depending on the age and stage of the posttraumatic period, as well as their positive time-course in the process of treatment. The control group consisted of 112 clinically healthy people working in similar occupational environment. The results of the study advocate the use of the above techniques for the objective evaluation of the results of treatment of subjects with a history of MCCI.
