Abstract

On slippery roads the limits of manoeuverability are reached much earlier, lower cornering speeds result, stopping distances become longer and dangerousmotions of vehciles occur more frequently. Some experimental and theoretical research work published by various authors in the last years has contributed for better understanding of the interaction between tire, vehicle and road.
