Abstract

This short paper discusses a method for measuring the effect of glare from headlights during the relatively short duration of the passage of two vehicles. This problem may be one of adaptation rather than one of brightness. Data are presented of the relationship between actual count and pure chance prediction for glare recovery and retinal sensitivity.
