Abstract

In the Lancet Psychiatry, Seena Fazel and colleagues(1) try to answer important questions about the association between depression and violence. Unfortunately, their methods limit the interpretation of their results, and undermine their concluding argument that casts doubt on data linking antidepressants with violence.
