Abstract

The article offers information on the need to reform and development of effective federal foreign adoption laws to minimize the risk of adoption process of a child from a foreign country by the residents of the U.S. States. Topics discussed include prevention of human trafficking, constitutionality of international adoption laws in the U.S., and significance of the Hague Convention in protecting the rights of children against the risk of the dangerous practice of private rehoming.
