Abstract

The article discusses a study which investigated the efficacy of Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report of the U.S. Department of State (U.S. DOS) through a longitudinal assessment of the tier classifications of the report.

RESULTS revealed that ranking has not advanced over time and the U.S. has not able to systematically distribute funds based on the tier classification system's recommendations. It offers several implications and recommendations for the policy.
