Abstract

Much is been said and written about the Civilian Conservation Corps as an agency for the rehabilitation of youth in regard to his physical, mental and moral status. However, little or nothing has been approved by research. Proponents and the few opponents aren't in agreement for the most part that the fundamental principles surrounding the establishment and maintenance of the core are sound. Universal reception and attitude of the people toward this movement has been, for the most part, favorable; but it seems wise to this writer that much publicity concerning the experimental evidence and other factual information should be furnished the public in every form possible. Therefore, this study on the physical fitness of the CCC enrolee was undertaken
