Abstract

Despite claims to the contrary, over the past 40 years, feminist scholars have made numerous empirical and theoretical contributions to the study of woman abuse in intimate heterosexual relationships. The main objective of this paper is to demonstrate that feminist ways of knowing continue to be relevant today. Another goal is to challenge some common myths about feminist modes of inquiry.
