Abstract

Former findings indicate that suicidal behavior in bipolar disorder is associated with clock genes. Additionally, numerous non-genetic risk factors are potentially associated with suicidal behavior. Therefore, we conducted an analysis of the relationship between clock genes (as distal risk factors) with clinical characteristics and the course of bipolar disorder.
