Abstract

Reports on 5 children, ages 1 yr 11 mo to 2 yrs 6 mo, who were treated for hyperactivity using positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement (time-out), and parental training. It is concluded that parents should more and more be viewed as the primary therapists for these children, and the parents themselves should become the "experts" in treatment.
