Abstract

Terrorism is any kind of group phenomenon incorporated into mentality deeply, but "the basic problem is that the word has been used more as an ideological weapon then as an analytical tool" (Turk, 1982). Because of this ideological sense, terrorism is strongly connected with so-called "terrorist acts." But does any act of terror mean act of terrorism constantly? Turk correctly observed that "in research, acts of terror have to be distinguished from the politics of terrorism" (Turk, 1982). The formula of politics of terrorism as a form of political violence is the main goal of this article.
