Abstract

The study of in-patient suicides during treatment in psychiatric and psychotherapeutic hospitals is part of research programmes according to treatment outcome. In our study we show an increase of suicides during the 70th and 80th years with highest numbers at the begin of the 80th years, after that the hospital suicide rate decrease again and shows different courses according to different hospitals.
