Abstract

The digitalization of medical data has created an opportunity to explore medical care in “real world” settings. At the same time, though, we have created the risk of coming to conclusions based upon incorrect data, changings definitions over time, or associations. Any database study needs to be viewed with a skeptical eye and clear logic.
