Abstract

The UK government must implement standards to prevent social media from sharing content that promotes self harm or suicide as a way of dealing with mental health problems, doctors have said.

Delegates at the BMA’s annual meeting in Belfast on 26 June voted for a motion saying that these standards should be binding on social media networks.
