Abstract

We would like to thank Dr Gambhir for his thoughtful comments. We strongly agree with Dr Gambhir that better collaboration across the spectrum of all personnel who are involved in firearm injury is needed. We specifically call for a comprehensive registry that will allow detailed evaluation of all aspects of firearm injury.1 To his point, we noted that the biggest limitation of our article was lack of any information whatsoever on 66% of CPMS events during the study period.
