Abstract

Recently, Choi et al. published an article in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, indicating that mental health disorders were experienced by disaster survivors in Korea. Comments were made on topics such as the participant selection, the standardization of vocabulary in disasters, choosing three types of hazards (flood, fire, and road traffic incidents), the type of interviews, and the language applied for interviews. This Commentary sets out to improve as much as possible the quality of the article.
