Abstract

In Reply Dr Cummings suggests that exercise has little benefit in preventing falls because “the risk ratio for any fall in the current study was 1.01”.1 However, the primary objective of our trial was to examine whether exercise reduced the rate of falls, not the number of people who experienced a fall.
